Transfer to and from Koh Chang

Koh Chang is the third largest island in Thailand and it’s located in the southwest of the country, close to the Cambodian border.

Koh Chang is a small paradise, quieter than the other popular tourist’s destinations.

There are only 2 ways to go to Koh Chang from Bangkok, by road or by plane.
By plane is the most expensive way but in some cases not the fastest way because you won’t land on Koh Chang. Bangkok Airways has a small airport in Trat, then you will need to go to the pier by taxi or private transfer, take the ferry and take another taxi to your hotel or resort.

By road, you have the choice between buses, shared vans or private transfers.
We are offering you the most relaxing way, a private transfer door-to-door. We will pick you up directly at the airport or your hotel and drive you directly to your hotel or resort on Koh Chang, just you and the driver in the car or van, nobody else.

Depending on the traffic and weather, it takes about 5 hours to drive from Bangkok to Koh Chang Ferries piers and vice versa.

During the travel, our driver will stop a couple of times to fill up the tank where you can at the same time buy snacks and refreshments but also visit the lavatories.
If you need to stop somewhere, just say it to our driver and he will find a suitable place to stop.

All our vehicles are air-conditioned and have shaded windows which are more comfortable. We also supply a free small bottle of water per passenger.

When you will book your trip, please ask if you absolutely want to have onboard Wi-Fi. It’s free but some of our vehicles still don’t have it.

If you can afford it, the minivan is the most comfortable vehicle, especially if you travel alone, as a couple or with your kids. There is more place for your legs than in the Innova.

Door-to-Door transfer!

Once arrive at the pier, the driver will take the ferry tickets for you (in extra) and wait for the ferry. If you have to wait, you can buy a very good Pad Thai takeaway in the parking area, just ask the driver.

When the car is on the ferry, the driver will wait inside the car or come with you and close it. It takes about 30 minutes to cross the channel. Go to the top deck and enjoy the view!

The driver will then drive you directly to the place you want and our price is the same if he drops you on the north of the island or at the extreme south.

About the price, the transfer will be paid to the driver in cash and Thai Baht once you have arrived. We will not try to fool you by adding extra cost, it will be as planned during the booking and it will include the road tolls, the gasoline. Ferry tickets are in extra.

If you need to come back to Bangkok with us, just contact me early enough to have time to arrange everything. The price will be the same. During the high season, it’s better to book your return at least a week before. Tell us also at what time you want to be at the airport, we will check the ferry timetables and let you know when you have to be picked up.

We can also provide kids’ seats for more safety. Just tell us how tall is your child to be sure to have the right size. It will cost 200 baht extra per seat and trip.
